'Sword' in the Bible

But if you refuse and rebel,you will be devoured by the sword.”For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.

He will settle disputes among the nationsand provide arbitration for many peoples.They will turn their swords into plowsand their spears into pruning knives.Nations will not take up the sword against other nations,and they will never again train for war.

Your men will fall by the sword,your warriors in battle.

Whoever is found will be stabbed,and whoever is caught will die by the sword.

But you are thrown out without a grave,like a worthless branch,covered by those slain with the swordand dumped into a rocky pit like a trampled corpse.

For they have fled from swords,from the drawn sword,from the bow that is strung,and from the stress of battle.

These two things have happened to you:devastation and destruction,famine and sword.Who will grieve for you?How can I comfort you?

I will destine you for the sword,and all of you will kneel down to be slaughtered,because I called and you did not answer,I spoke and you did not hear;you did what was evil in My sightand chose what I did not delight in.

For the Lord will execute judgmenton all flesh with His fiery sword,and many will be slain by the Lord.
