Zedekiah's Covenant Concerning Slaves

¹⁹ The officials of Judah and Jerusalem, the court officials, the priests, and all the people of the land who passed between the pieces of the calf ²⁰ will be handed over to their enemies, to those who want to take their life. Their corpses will become food for the birds of the sky and for the wild animals of the land. ²¹ I will hand Zedekiah king of Judah and his officials over to their enemies, to those who want to take their lives, to the king of Babylon’s army that is withdrawing.

Jeremiah 7:33

The corpses of these people will become food for the birds of the sky and for the wild animals of the land, with no one to scare them away.

Jeremiah 11:21

They will die from deadly diseases. They will not be mourned or buried but will be like manure on the face of the earth. They will be finished off by sword and famine. Their corpses will become food for the birds of the sky and for the wild animals of the land.

Deuteronomy 28:26

Your corpses will be food for all the birds of the sky and the wild animals of the land, with no one to scare them away.
