'It is Written' in the Bible
For thus it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the philosophers, And the prudence of the prudent will I confound.
Nay, as it is written. Eye has not seen, Nor ear heard, Neither have entered into man's heart The things which God has prepared For those who love him.
For the philosophy of this world is foolishness in God's sight. It is written, He snares the wise in their own craftiness,
Yea, in the Law of Moses it is written, Thou shalt not muzzle an ox while he is treading out the grain.
And you must not be idolaters like some of them. as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, And they rose up for idol dances.
In the Law it is written. With men of other tongues, and by the lips of strangers, will I speak to this people, and even then they will not listen to me, says the Lord.
Thus it is written. The first man, Adam, became a living being, the last Adam, a life-giving Spirit.
