'My Father' in the Bible
Not every one who says to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but he that does the will of my Father who is in the heavens.
But another of his disciples said to him, Lord, suffer me first to go away and bury my father.
Every one therefore who shall confess me before men, I also will confess him before my Father who is in the heavens.
But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father who is in the heavens.
All things have been delivered to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son but the Father, nor does any one know the Father, but the Son, and he to whom the Son may be pleased to reveal him.
for whosoever shall do the will of my Father who is in the heavens, he is my brother, and sister, and mother.
And Jesus answering said to him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jona, for flesh and blood has not revealed it to thee, but my Father who is in the heavens.
See that ye do not despise one of these little ones; for I say unto you that their angels in the heavens continually behold the face of my Father who is in the heavens.
Again I say to you, that if two of you shall agree on the earth concerning any matter, whatsoever it may be that they shall ask, it shall come to them from my Father who is in the heavens.
And he says to them, Ye shall drink indeed my cup, but to sit on my right hand and on my left, is not mine to give, but to those for whom it is prepared of my Father.
But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of the heavens, but my Father alone.
Then shall the King say to those on his right hand, Come, blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the world's foundation:
But I say to you, that I will not at all drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in the kingdom of my Father.
And going forward a little he fell upon his face, praying and saying, My Father, if it be possible let this cup pass from me; but not as I will, but as thou wilt.
Again going away a second time he prayed saying, My Father, if this cannot pass from me unless I drink it, thy will be done.
Or thinkest thou that I cannot now call upon my Father, and he will furnish me more than twelve legions of angels?
