'My Father' in the Bible
"Not every one who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, but he that does the will of My Father in Heaven.
And another of the disciples said to Him, "Lord, permit me first to go and bury my father."
"Every one, therefore, who shall confess Me before men, him will I also confess before My Father Who is in Heaven.
But whosoever denies Me before men, him will I also deny before My Father Who is in Heaven.
"All things were delivered to Me by My Father; and no one fully knows the Son except the Father; neither does any one fully know the Father except the Son, and he to whom the Son willeth to reveal Him.
For whosoever does the will of My Father Who is in Heaven, he is My brother, and sister, and mother."
And Jesus, answering, said to him, "Happy are you, Simon Bar-Jonah; because flesh and blood did not reveal it to you, but My Father Who is in Heaven.
"See that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say to you, that their angels in Heaven do always behold the face of My Father Who is in Heaven.
"Again, I say to you, that, if two of you shall agree on the earth concerning any matter which ye ask, it shall be done for them by My Father Who is in Heaven;
He saith to them, "My cup, indeed, ye shall drink; but to sit on My right hand, and on My left, is not Mine to give, but it is for those for whom it has been prepared by My Father."
"Then will the King say to those on His right hand, 'Come, ye blessed of My Father! inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the founding of the world:
And I say to you, I will not drink henceforth of this product of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in the Kingdom of My Father."
And, going forward a little, He fell on His face, praying, and saying, "My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass away from Me: nevertheless not as I will, but as Thou wilt."
Again, a second time, going away, He prayed, saying, "My Father, if it is not possible that this cup should pass away except I drink it, Thy will be done,"
Or do you think that I cannot call upon My Father, and He will place beside Me, even now, more than twelve legions of angels?
