'Jesus Christ' in the Bible
This is the book of the generations of Jesus Christ: the son of David, the son also of Abraham.
The birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When his mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came to dwell together, she was found with child by the holy ghost.
Then he charged his disciples, that they should tell no man that he was Jesus Christ.
The beginning of the Gospel of Jesus Christ the son of God.
For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
This is life eternal: that they might know thee, that only very God, and whom thou hast sent, Jesus Christ.
Peter said unto them, "Repent, and be baptised every one of of you in the name of Jesus Christ, for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the holy ghost.
Then said Peter, "Silver and gold have I none: such as I have, give I thee. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk."
that is, to wit, Jesus Christ: which must receive heaven until the time that all things which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began, be restored again.
be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, and whom God raised from death again, even by him doth this man stand here present before you whole.
And daily in the temple, and in every house they ceased not, teaching and preaching Jesus Christ.
But as soon as they believed Philip's preaching of the kingdom of God and of the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptised: both men and women.
Philip said unto him, "If thou believe with all thine heart, thou mayest." He answered, and said, "I believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God."
Then said Peter unto him, "Aeneas, the Lord Jesus Christ make thee whole: Arise and make thy bed." And he arose immediately.
Ye know the preaching that God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ, which is Lord over all things;
Forasmuch then as God gave them like gifts, as he did unto us, when we believed on the Lord Jesus Christ: what was I that I should have withstood God?"
But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, as they do."
men that have jeopardized their lives, for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
And this did she many days. But Paul, not content, turned about and said to the spirit, "I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ that thou come out of her." And he came out the same hour.
Paul, the servant of Jesus Christ, called unto the office to be an apostle, put apart to preach the Gospel of God,
and declared to be the son of God with power of the holy ghost, that sanctifieth, since the time that Jesus Christ our Lord rose again from death:
of the which heathen are ye a part also, which are Jesus Christ's by vocation.
To all you of Rome beloved of God, and saints by calling. Grace be with you, and peace from God our father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
First: Verily I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, because your faith is published throughout all the world.
at the day when God shall judge the secrets of men, by Jesus Christ according to my Gospel.
The righteousness, no doubt, which is good before God cometh by the faith of Jesus Christ: unto all, and upon all them that believe.
Because therefore that we are justified by faith we are at peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
Not only so, but we also joy in God by the means of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have received the atonement.
But the gift is not like as the sin. For if, through the sin of one, many be dead: much more plenteous, upon many, was the grace of God and gift by grace: which grace was given by one man, Jesus Christ.
For if by the sin of one, death reigned by the means of one, much more shall they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life by the means of one; that is to say, Jesus Christ.
That as sin had reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life, by the help of Jesus Christ.
Likewise, imagine ye also, that ye are dead concerning sin: but are alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
For the reward of sin is death: but eternal life is the gift of God, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord: So then I myself in my mind serve the law of God, and in my flesh the law of sin.
For the law of the spirit, that bringeth life through Jesus Christ, hath delivered me from the law of sin, and death:
but put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ. And make not provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts of it.
The God of patience and consolation give unto every one of you, that ye be like likeminded one towards another after the example of Jesus Christ:
And I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers.
for this purpose: that I should be the minister of Jesus Christ among the gentiles, and should minister the glad tidings of God, that the gentiles might be an acceptable offering, sanctified by the holy ghost.
I beseech you brethren for our Lord Jesus Christ's sake, and for the love of the spirit, that ye help me in my business, with your prayers to God for me,
For they that are such serve not the Lord Jesus Christ: but their own bellies. And with sweet preachings and flattering words deceive the hearts of the innocents:
The God of peace tread Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all Amen.
To him that is of power to establish you according to my gospel and preaching of Jesus Christ, in uttering of the mystery which was kept secret since the world began,
To the same God, which alone is wise, be praise through Jesus Christ for ever Amen. {To the Romans. Sent from Corinth by Phoebe, she that was the minister unto the congregation at Cenchreae}
Paul, by vocation an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and brother Sosthenes.
Unto the congregation of God which is at Corinth. To them that are sanctified in Jesus Christ, saints by calling, with all that call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ in every place, both of theirs and of ours.
Grace be with you and peace from God our father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
I thank my God always on your behalf for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ,
even as the testimony of Jesus Christ was confirmed in you:
so that ye are behind in no gift, and wait for the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ
which shall strengthen you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
For God is faithful, by whom ye are called unto the fellowship of his son Jesus Christ our Lord.
I beseech you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all speak one thing and that there be no dissension among you: but be ye perfect in one mind, and one meaning.
Neither showed I myself that I knew anything among you save Jesus Christ, even the same that was crucified.
For other foundation can no man lay, than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of the Lord Jesus Christ,
yet unto us is there but one God, which is the father, of whom are all things, and we in him: and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.
Am I not an apostle? Am I not free? Have I not seen Jesus Christ our Lord? Are not ye my work in the Lord?
But thanks be unto God, which hath given us victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, the same be anathema. Maranatha.
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and brother Timothy. Unto the congregation of God, which is at Corinth, with all the saints which are in all Achaia:
Grace be with you and peace from God our father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
For God's son Jesus Christ which was preached among you by us - that is to say, by me and Silvanus and Timothy - was not "yea" and "nay": but in him it was "Yea."
For it is God that commanded the light to shine out of darkness, which hath shined in our hearts, for to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
Nevertheless, all things are of God, which hath reconciled us unto himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given unto us the office to preach the atonement.
Ye know the liberality of our Lord Jesus Christ, which though he were rich, yet for your sakes became poor: that ye through his poverty might be made rich.
The God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is blessed for evermore, knoweth that I lie not.
Prove yourselves whether ye are in the faith or not. Examine your own selves: know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be castaways?
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the holy ghost, be with you all. Amen. {The end of the Second Epistle unto the Corinthians, Sent from Philippi, a city in Macedonia, by Titus and Luke}
Paul an apostle, not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and by God the father which raised him from death,
Grace be with you and peace from God the father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ,
neither received I it of man, neither was I taught it: but received it by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
know that a man is not justified by the deeds of the law: but by the faith of Jesus Christ - and therefore we have believed on Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ and not by the deeds of the law: because that no flesh shall be justified by the deeds of the law.
O foolish Galatians: who hath bewitched you, that ye should not believe the truth, to whom Jesus Christ was described before the eyes, and among you crucified?
that the blessing of Abraham might come on the gentiles through Jesus Christ, and that we might receive the promise of the spirit through faith.
But the scripture concluded all things under sin, that the promise by the faith of Jesus Christ should be given unto them that believe.
For in Jesus Christ, neither is circumcision anything worth, neither yet uncircumcision: but faith, which by love is mighty in operation.
God forbid that I should rejoice but in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, whereby the world is crucified as touching me, and I as concerning the world.
Brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, Amen. {Unto the Galatians, Written from Rome}
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ, by the will of God. To the saints which are at Ephesus, and to them which believe on Jesus Christ.
Grace be with you and peace from God our father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
Blessed be God the father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which hath blessed us with all manner of spiritual blessings in heavenly things by Christ,
And ordained us before unto himself that we should be chosen before, through Jesus Christ, to be heirs unto himself according to the pleasure of his will,
that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the father of glory, might give unto you the spirit of wisdom, and open to you the knowledge of himself,
and are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets - Jesus Christ being the head cornerstone -
For this cause, I Paul the servant of Jesus Christ am in bonds for your sakes, which are heathen -
and to make all men see what the fellowship of the mystery is, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, which made all things through Jesus Christ,
For this cause I bow my knees unto the father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
be praise in the congregation by Jesus Christ, throughout all generations from time to time. Amen.
giving thanks always for all things unto God the father, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Peace be with the brethren, and love with faith from God the father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
Grace be with all them which love our Lord Jesus Christ in pureness. Amen. {Sent from Rome unto the Ephesians by Tychicus.}
Paul and Timothy, the servants of Jesus Christ. To all the saints in Christ Jesus which are at Philippi, with the bishops and deacons.
Grace be with you and peace from God our father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
and am surely certified of this, that he which began a good work in you shall go forth with it until the day of Jesus Christ,
For God beareth me record how greatly I long after you all from the very heart-root in Jesus Christ.
filled with the fruits of righteousness, which fruits come by Jesus Christ unto the glory and laud of God.
For I know that this shall chance to my salvation, through your prayer, and ministering of the spirit of Jesus Christ,
