So after he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this, and they believed the scripture and the saying that Jesus had spoken.

Now the Pharisees and some of the experts in the law who came from Jerusalem gathered around him.

In the same way, the promise that I make does not return to me, having accomplished nothing. No, it is realized as I desire and is fulfilled as I intend."

And Saul agreed completely with killing. Now on that day a great persecution began against the church in Jerusalem, and all except the apostles were forced to scatter throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria.

Then his disciples asked him what this parable meant.

So Paul stood before the Areopagus and said, "Men of Athens, I see that you are very religious in all respects.

Now Jesus' parents went to Jerusalem every year for the feast of the Passover.
