'On Earth' in the Bible

“Is not man forced to labor on earth?And are not his days like the days of a hired man?

“For we are only of yesterday and know nothing,Because our days on earth are [like] a shadow [just a breath or a vapor].

“He wraps the waters in His clouds [which otherwise would spill on earth all at once],And the cloud does not burst under them.

“Even though you say that you do not see Him [when missing His righteous judgment on earth],Yet your case is before Him, and you must wait for Him!

“Upon earth there is nothing like him—no equal exists,A creature made without fear.
