And that which is in the good ground, are those whosoever hearing the word in a beautiful and good heart, retain it, and bring forth fruit with patience.

Luke 10:38-42

And it came to pass while they were going round, He also came into a certain village: and a certain woman by name Martha received Him into her house. And there was a sister to her called Mary, who indeed sitting down at the feet of the Lord, continued to hear his word: and Martha was very busy about much serving. Luke 11:33-36

No one, having lighted a lamp, putteth it in a cellar, nor under a bushel, but on a candlestick, in order that those coming in may see the light. The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye may be clear, truly thy whole body is lighted; but when it may be had, truly thy body is dark. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be.
