And he said to them, Wheresoever ye enter into an house, there abide till ye depart from that place. And whosoever shall not receive you nor hear you, departing thence shake off the dust under your feet, for a testimony against them. Verily I say to you, it shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city. And they went out and preached, that men should repent.

Go ye and disciple all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you; and lo I am with you always, even to the end of the world.

But into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you not, going out into the streets of it, say, Even the dust of your city which cleaveth to our feet, do we wipe off against you: yet know this, that the kingdom of God is at hand. I say to you, it shall be more tolerable in that day for Sodom than for that city.

And Jesus going out of the temple departed: and his disciples came to him, to shew him the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said to them, See ye not all these things? And as he sat on the mount of Olives, his disciples came to him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? read more.
And Jesus answering said, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am the Christ, and shall deceive many. And ye will hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled; for all these things must come to pass: but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines and pestilences and earthquakes in divers places: All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then shall they deliver you to be afflicted, and shall kill you; and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure to the end, the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached to all the world, for a testimony to all nations: and then shall the end come.

But when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be not troubled; for it must be; but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginning of sorrows. But take heed to yourselves for they will deliver you to councils, and ye shall be beaten in synagogues, and shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony to them. read more.
And the gospel must first be published among all nations.

Know ye not, that they who are employed about holy things, are fed out of the temple? And they who wait at the altar, are partakers with the altar. So also hath the Lord ordained, that they who preach the gospel, should live of the gospel.

My beloved children, I write these things to you, that ye may not sin. But if any one sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ, the righteous, And he is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. He that faith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth his word, verily in him the love of God is perfected: hereby we know that we are in him. He that saith, he abideth in him, ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

But how shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him, of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? But how shall they preach, unless they be sent? As it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them who bring the good tidings of peace, who bring the glad tidings of good things!

And he commanded us, to proclaim to the people, and to testify, that it is he who is ordained by God the Judge of the living and the dead. To him give all the prophets witness, that every one who believeth in him, shall receive forgiveness of sins through his name.

For the doctrine of the cross is indeed to them that perish foolishness; but to us who are saved, it is the power of God. For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and abolish the understanding of the prudent. Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this world? Hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? read more.
For since, in the wisdom of God, the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. For whereas the Jews demand signs, and the Greeks seek wisdom, We preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block, and to the Greeks foolishness: But to them that are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

Now when I came to Troas, to preach the gospel of Christ, and a door was opened to me in the Lord, I had no rest in my spirit, because I did not find Titus my brother; so taking leave of them, I went forth into Macedonia. Now thanks be to God, who causeth us always to triumph through Christ, and manifesteth by us in every place the odour of his knowledge. read more.
For we are to God a sweet odour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish: To these an odour of death unto death, but to those an odour of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things? For we are not as many, who adulterate the word of God; but as of sincerity, but as from God, in the sight of God, speak we in Christ.

That we may be no longer children, fluctuating to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the slight of men, by cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive:

I marvel that ye are so soon removed from Christ who called you by his grace to another gospel, Which is not another; but there are some that trouble you, and would subvert the gospel of Christ. But if we or an angel from heaven preach to you another gospel than we have preached to you, let him be accursed: read more.
As we have said before, so I say now again, if any preach to you another gospel than that ye received, let him be accursed. For do I now satisfy men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

Thou therefore that teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? Thou that proclaimest, a man should not steal, dost thou steal? Thou that sayst, a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? Thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege? Thou that gloriest in the law, dost thou by transgressing the law dishonour God? read more.
For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.

The law and the Prophets were until John: from that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man forceth into it. Yet it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than for one tittle of the law to fail.

But watch thou in all things, endure affliction, do the work of an evangelist, fulfil thy ministry.

If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God: if any man minister, let him minister as of the ability which God giveth, that God in all things may be glorified thro' Jesus Christ, whose is the glory and the might for ever and ever. Amen.
