Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and appointed you that ye may go and bear fruit, and your fruit may remain; that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

Then saith he to his disciples, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few. Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.

After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two by two into every place, whither he himself intended to come. And he said to them, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest. Go: behold I send you forth as lambs in the midst of wolves.

And he that reapeth, receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit to life eternal, that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together. And herein is the saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth. I have sent you to reap that whereon ye have bestowed no labour: others have laboured, and ye are entered into their labour.

And calling together the twelve, he gave them power and authority over all devils and to cure diseases.

And having called to him his twelve disciples, he gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out and to heal every disease and every malady.

And Jesus came and spake to them, saying, All power is given me in heaven and in earth.

And he calleth to him the twelve, and sent them forth by two and two, and gave them power over unclean spirits;

And these signs shall follow them that believe: in my name they shall cast out devils: they shall speak with new tongues: They shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall in no wise hurt them: they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

And the seventy returned with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject to us thro' thy name. And he said to them, I beheld Satan falling as lightning from heaven. Behold I give ydu power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy,

Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you. As the Father hath sent me, even so send I you.

As thou hast sent me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.

But ye shall receive power, the Holy Ghost being come upon you, and shall be witnesses to me, both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and Samaria, and to the uttermost part of the earth.

but tarry in the city Jerusalem, till ye be clothed with power from on high.

And having said this, he breathed on them, and saith to them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost.

And while they were praying, the place in which they were assembled was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and spake the word of God with boldness.

God also bearing them witness by signs, and wonders, and various miracles, and distributions of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will.

Go ye and disciple all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you; and lo I am with you always, even to the end of the world.

Then they, gladly receiving his word, were baptized; and there were added to them that day about three thousand souls. And they continued stedfast in the teaching of the apostles, and the fellowship, and the breaking of bread, and the prayers.

We also are men of like passions with you, and preach to you, to turn from these vanities unto the living God, who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all things that are therein: Who, in times past, suffered all nations to walk in their own ways:

And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, a worshiper of God, heard; whose heart the Lord opened to assent to the things which were spoken by Paul. And when she was baptized and her family, she intreated us saying, Since ye have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house and abide there. And she constrained us.

And Crispus, the ruler of the synagogue, believed on the Lord with all his house; and many of the Corinthians, hearing, believed and were baptized.

But how shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him, of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? But how shall they preach, unless they be sent? As it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them who bring the good tidings of peace, who bring the glad tidings of good things!

For the life was manifested, and we have seen, and testify and declare to you the eternal life which was with the Father, and was manifested to us: That which we have seen and heard declare we to you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son, Jesus Christ:

And he sent them to preach the gospel of the kingdom, and to heal the sick. And said to them, Take nothing for your journey,

And as ye go, proclaim, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following.

And they departed, and went thro' the towns preaching the Gospel and healing every where.

But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life precious to myself, so I may finish my course with joy, and the ministry which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through, he preached in all the cities till he came to Cesarea.

For God, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, is my witness, how incessantly I make mention of you,

But I have striven, so to preach the gospel, not where Christ had been named, lest I should build upon another man's foundation.

Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.

The God of our fathers hath raised up Jesus, whom ye slew, hanging him on a tree. Him hath God exalted, a Prince and a Saviour with his right-hand, to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins. And we are witnesses of these things, and also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.

And ye are witnesses of these things. And behold I send the promise of my Father upon you:

But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me. Ye also testify, because ye have been with me from the beginning.

For we cannot but speak the things, which we have seen and heard.

That the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in heavenly places, According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord,

Hereby is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit: so shall ye be my disciples.

which war against the soul, Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles, that whereas they speak against you as evil-doers, they may by your good works which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.

And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached to all the world, for a testimony to all nations: and then shall the end come.

And the gospel must first be published among all nations.

And he said to them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

These twelve Jesus sent forth, having commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into a city of the Samaritans enter not: But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses: Nor scrip for your journey, nor two coats, nor shoes, nor yet a staff: for the workman is worthy of his maintenance. And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, inquire who in it is worthy, and there abide till ye go thence.read more.
And when ye come into an house, salute it. And if the house be worthy, your peace shall come upon it; but if it be not worthy, your peace shall return to you. And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words; when ye go out of that house or city, shake off the dust from your feet. Verily I say unto you, it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city.

And commanded them to take nothing for the journey, save a staff only; no scrip, no bread, no mony in their purse; But be shod with sandals, and not to put on two coats. And he said to them, Wheresoever ye enter into an house, there abide till ye depart from that place.read more.
And whosoever shall not receive you nor hear you, departing thence shake off the dust under your feet, for a testimony against them. Verily I say to you, it shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city.

neither staves, nor scrip, nor bread, nor money: neither have two coats apiece. And into whatsoever house ye enter, there abide and thence depart. And whosoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them.

Carry not purse or scrip or shoes, and salute no man by the way. And into whatsoever house ye enter, first say, Peace be to this house. And if a son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again.read more.
And remain in the same house eating and drinking such things as they have; for the labourer is worthy of his hire: go not from house to house. And into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you. And heal the sick that are therein, and say to them, The kingdom of God is come nigh to you. But into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you not, going out into the streets of it, say, Even the dust of your city which cleaveth to our feet, do we wipe off against you: yet know this, that the kingdom of God is at hand. I say to you, it shall be more tolerable in that day for Sodom than for that city.

Now they who had been scattered abroad by the distress which arose about Stephen, travelled as far as Phenicia, and Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching to none but Jews only.

Therefore they that were scattered abroad, went every where, preaching the word. And Philip coming down to a city of Samaria, preached Christ to them. And the people with one accord gave heed to the things which Philip spoke, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.read more.
For unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of many that had them, and many sick of the palsy and lame were healed. And there was great joy in that city.

And the apostles who were at Jerusalem, hearing that Samaria had received the word of God, sent to them Peter and John: Who being come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost. For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they had been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.read more.
Then they laid hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.

But the Lord said unto him, Go: for he is a chosen vessel to me, to bear my name before nations and kings, and the children of Israel.

For I speak to you Gentiles, as I am the apostle of the Gentiles:

That I should be the servant of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministring the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles may be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost.

Then Peter opening his mouth, said, I perceive of a truth that God is not a respecter of persons: But in every nation, he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted by him.

And some of them were men of Cyprus and Cyrene, who coming into Antioch, spake to the Greeks, preaching the Lord Jesus. And the hand of the Lord was with them; and a great number believed and turned to the Lord.

Now there were in the church that was at Antioch, certain prophets and teachers, Barnabas, and Simeon called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene and Manaen, who had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul. And as they were ministring to the Lord and fasting, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul, for the work to which I have called them. Then having fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.

But Paul having chose Silas, departed, being recommended by the brethren to the grace of God. And he went through Syria and Cilicia, confirming the churches.
