Since then we have in Jesus, the Son of God, a great High Priest who has gone right up to heaven itself, let us continue to keep a firm hold on our profession of faith in Him. For we do not have a High Priest who is incapable of sympathizing with us in our weaknesses, but we have One who was tempted in every respect as we are, and yet without committing any sin. So let us continue coming with courage to the throne of God's unmerited favor to obtain His mercy and to find His spiritual strength to help us when we need it.
let us, without ever wavering, keep on holding to the hope that we profess, for He is to be trusted who has made the promise,

As for us apostles, men ought to think of us as ministers of Christ and trustees to handle God's uncovered truths. Now in this matter of trustees the first and final requirement is that they should prove to be trustworthy.
Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of the Scriptures, and to preaching and teaching. Stop neglecting the gift you received, which was given you through prophetic utterance when the elders laid their hands upon you. Continue cultivating these things; be devoted to them, so that everybody will see your progress.read more.
Make it your habit to pay close attention to yourself and your teaching. Persevere in these things, for if you do you will save both yourself and those who listen to you.
Timothy, guard what has been entrusted to you; continue to turn away from the worldly, futile phrases and contradictions of what is falsely called "knowledge,"
Continue to be an example in wholesome instructions which you learned from me, in the faith and love that come through union with Christ Jesus. Guard this fine deposit of truth by the aid of the Holy Spirit who has His home in our hearts.
The things you learned from me before many witnesses you must commit to trustworthy men who will be competent to teach others too.

Now the crown for doing right awaits me, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award me on that day, and not only me but also all who have loved His appearing.
They will make war upon the Lamb, but the Lamb will conquer them, and His chosen, elect, and faithful followers will conquer with Him, too, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings."
