But a certain Samaritan, as he was journeying, came where he was, and when he saw him, had compassion, and went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine, and setting him on his own beast, brought him to an inn, and took care of him. And the next day, he took out two denaries and gave them to the host, and said, Take care of him; and whatever thou spendest more, I, when I come back, will repay thee. Which of these three, dost thou think, was neighbor to him that fell among the robbers? And he said, He that took pity on him. Then said Jesus to him, Go, and do thou likewise.

James 2:12-13

So speak, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty. For the judgment shall be without mercy to him that showed no mercy. Mercy glorieth against judgment.

Matthew 18:21-35

Then his fellowservants, seeing what was done, were greatly grieved; and went and told their lord all that had been done. Then his lord, having called him, saith to him, Thou wicked servant! All that debt I forgave thee because thou didst beseech me; shouldst not thou also have had pity on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee? And his lord was enraged, and delivered him to the inflicters of punishment, till he should pay all that was due to him. So also will my heavenly Father do to you, if ye forgive not every one his brother from your hearts.

Luke 17:3-4

Take heed to yourselves. If thy brother sin, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. And if he sin against thee seven times in a day, and seven times turn to thee, saying, I repent, thou shalt forgive him.
