22 Bible Verses about the Gifts of God

Having then gifts which dither according to the grace which hath been bestowed upon us, if we have prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of our faith;

I would that all men were as I myself; but every one hath his own gift from God, one man this, and another that.

Jesus answered and said to her, If thou hadst known the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink, thou wouldst have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.

For God so loved the world, that he gave the only begotten Son, that every one who believeth in him may not perish, but may have everlasting life.

Jesus therefore said to them, Truly, truly do I say to you, Moses hath not given you the bread from heaven; but my Father is giving you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is that which is coming down from heaven, and giving life to the world.

For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving; for it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

and to you the distressed rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be manifested from heaven, with the angels of his might,

Come to me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

for to you it was given in behalf of Christ, not only to believe in him, but in his behalf to suffer also;

For by grace ye have been saved, through faith; and this is not of yourselves; it is the gift of God;

But to each one of us was given the grace [which he hath] according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Wherefore he saith: "When he ascended on high, he led captive a train of captives, and gave gifts to men."

give us this day our daily bread;

Charge those who are rich in this world that they be not highminded, nor place their hope in uncertain riches, but in God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; that they do good,

If ye then, though evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to them that ask him!

Ask, and it will be given you; seek, and ye will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.

He who spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not also with him freely give us all things?

But if any one of you is wanting in wisdom, let him ask of God, who giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it will be given him.

Seeing that his Divine power hath given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness;

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the lights, with whom is no change, nor shadow from turning.

but he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, "God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace to the humble."

If ye then, though evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!

But Peter said to him, Thy money perish with thee! because thou didst think to obtain the gift of God with money.

and to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his ability, and went abroad. His lord said to him, Well done, good and faithful servant! thou hast been faithful over a little, I will place thee in charge of much; enter into the joy of thy lord. He also that had received the two talents came and said, Lord, thou intrustedst to me two talents; see, I have gained two talents more. His lord said to him, Well done, good and faithful servant! thou hast been faithful over a little, I will place thee in charge of much; enter into the joy of thy lord. Then he also that had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee to be a hard man, reaping where thou didst not sow, and gathering where thou didst not scatter seed; and I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth. See! thou hast thine own. But his lord answered and said to him, Wicked and slothful servant! Didst thou know that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I did not scatter seed? Thou oughtest then to have put my money with the moneydealers, and on my coming I should have received mine own with interest. Take therefore the talent from him, and give it to him who hath the ten talents. For to every one that hath will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him that hath not, even that which he hath will be taken away. And cast out the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness; there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Therefore I say to you, Be not anxious for your life, what ye shall eat; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than food, and the body than raiment? Behold the birds of the air, that they sow not, nor reap, nor gather into barns; and your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are not ye of much greater value than they? But who of you by anxious thought can add to his life one cubit? read more.
And why are ye anxious about raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They toil not, neither do they spin; and yet I say to you, that not even Solomon in all his glory was arrayed like one of these. And if God so clothes the herbage of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into an oven, will he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Therefore be not anxious, saying, What shall we eat, or what shall we drink, or wherewith shall we he clothed? For after all these things do the gentiles seek; for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek first his kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will also be given you.

And the free gift is not like what happened through one man who sinned. For sentence of condemnation followed one offence; but the free gift is a justification after many offences. For if by one trespass death reigned through the one man, much more will they who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ.)

According as each one hath received a gift, minister the same to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

For in respect to his gifts and his calling, there is no change of purpose with God.

For the wages of sin is death; but the free gift of God is everlasting life, through Christ Jesus our Lord.

And when they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, So then to the gentiles also God hath granted repentance unto life.
