So Barnabas and Saul returned to Jerusalem when they had completed their mission, bringing along with them John Mark.
Then Paul and his companions put out to sea from Paphos and came to Perga in Pamphylia, but John left them and returned to Jerusalem.
From the descendants of this man God brought to Israel a Savior, Jesus, just as he promised.
They went through the region of Phrygia and Galatia, having been prevented by the Holy Spirit from speaking the message in the province of Asia.
Therefore keep up your courage, men, for I have faith in God that it will be just as I have been told.
After some days Paul said to Barnabas, "Let's return and visit the brothers in every town where we proclaimed the word of the Lord to see how they are doing."
Jesus sent out these twelve, instructing them as follows: "Do not go to Gentile regions and do not enter any Samaritan town.
So Jesus said to them again, "Peace be with you. Just as the Father has sent me, I also send you."
A woman named Lydia, a dealer in purple cloth from the city of Thyatira, a God-fearing woman, listened to us. The Lord opened her heart to respond to what Paul was saying.
