'Disciples' in the Bible

As Jesus was having a meal in Levi's home, many tax collectors and sinners were eating with Jesus and his disciples, for there were many who followed him.

When the experts in the law and the Pharisees saw that he was eating with sinners and tax collectors, they said to his disciples, "Why does he eat with tax collectors and sinners?"

Now John's disciples and the Pharisees were fasting. So they came to Jesus and said, "Why do the disciples of John and the disciples of the Pharisees fast, but your disciples don't fast?"

Jesus was going through the grain fields on a Sabbath, and his disciples began to pick some heads of wheat as they made their way.

Then Jesus went away with his disciples to the sea, and a great multitude from Galilee followed him. And from Judea,

Because of the crowd, he told his disciples to have a small boat ready for him so the crowd would not press toward him.

On that day, when evening came, Jesus said to his disciples, "Let's go across to the other side of the lake."

His disciples said to him, "You see the crowd pressing against you and you say, 'Who touched me?'"

Now Jesus left that place and came to his hometown, and his disciples followed him.

When John's disciples heard this, they came and took his body and placed it in a tomb.

When it was already late, his disciples came to him and said, "This is an isolated place and it is already very late.

He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. He gave them to his disciples to serve the people, and he divided the two fish among them all.

Immediately Jesus made his disciples get into the boat and go on ahead to the other side, to Bethsaida, while he dispersed the crowd.

Now when Jesus had left the crowd and entered the house, his disciples asked him about the parable.

In those days there was another large crowd with nothing to eat. So Jesus called his disciples and said to them,

His disciples answered him, "Where can someone get enough bread in this desolate place to satisfy these people?"

Then he directed the crowd to sit down on the ground. After he took the seven loaves and gave thanks, he broke them and began giving them to the disciples to serve. So they served the crowd.

Immediately he got into a boat with his disciples and went to the district of Dalmanutha.

Then Jesus and his disciples went to the villages of Caesarea Philippi. On the way he asked his disciples, "Who do people say that I am?"

When they came to the disciples, they saw a large crowd around them and experts in the law arguing with them.

Whenever it seizes him, it throws him down, and he foams at the mouth, grinds his teeth, and becomes rigid. I asked your disciples to cast it out, but they were not able to do so."

In the house once again, the disciples asked him about this.

Now people were bringing little children to him for him to touch, but the disciples scolded those who brought them.

Then Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, "How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God!"

They came to Jericho. As Jesus and his disciples and a large crowd were leaving Jericho, Bartimaeus the son of Timaeus, a blind beggar, was sitting by the road.

Now as they approached Jerusalem, near Bethphage and Bethany, at the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two of his disciples

He said to it, "May no one ever eat fruit from you again." And his disciples heard it.

When evening came, Jesus and his disciples went out of the city.

He called his disciples and said to them, "I tell you the truth, this poor widow has put more into the offering box than all the others.

Now as Jesus was going out of the temple courts, one of his disciples said to him, "Teacher, look at these tremendous stones and buildings!"

Now on the first day of the feast of Unleavened Bread, when the Passover lamb is sacrificed, Jesus' disciples said to him, "Where do you want us to prepare for you to eat the Passover?"

He sent two of his disciples and told them, "Go into the city, and a man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him.

Wherever he enters, tell the owner of the house, 'The Teacher says, "Where is my guest room where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?"'

So the disciples left, went into the city, and found things just as he had told them, and they prepared the Passover.

Then they went to a place called Gethsemane, and Jesus said to his disciples, "Sit here while I pray."

But go, tell his disciples, even Peter, that he is going ahead of you into Galilee. You will see him there, just as he told you."
