'Gardens' in the Bible

They stretch out like river valleys,like gardens beside a stream,like aloes the Lord has planted,like cedars beside the water.

I made gardens and parks for myself and planted every kind of fruit tree in them.

W My love has gone down to his garden,to beds of spice,to feed in the gardensand gather lilies.

M You who dwell in the gardens—companions are listening for your voice—let me hear you!

Indeed, they will be ashamed of the sacred treesyou desired,and you will be embarrassed because of the gardensyou have chosen.

These people continually provoke Meto My face,sacrificing in gardens,burning incense on bricks,

“Build houses and live in them. Plant gardens and eat their produce.

For he has sent word to us in Babylon, claiming, “The exile will be long. Build houses and settle down. Plant gardens and eat their produce.”’”

I struck you with blight and mildew;the locust devouredyour many gardens and vineyards,your fig trees and olive trees,yet you did not return to Me.This is the Lord’s declaration.

I will restore the fortunes of My people Israel.They will rebuild and occupy ruined cities,plant vineyards and drink their wine,make gardens and eat their produce.
