There the wicked cease to make trouble, and there the weary find rest.
Your enemies will be clothed with shame;the tent of the wicked will exist no longer.
It is all the same. Therefore I say,“He destroys both the blameless and the wicked.”
The earth is handed over to the wicked; He blindfolds its judges. If it isn’t He, then who is it?
Is it good for You to oppress,to reject the work of Your hands, and favor the plans of the wicked?
even though You know that I am not wickedand that there is no one who can deliver from Your hand?
If I am wicked, woe to me!And even if I am righteous, I cannot lift up my head.I am filled with shameand aware of my affliction.
But the sight of the wicked will fail.Their way of escape will be cut off,and their only hope is their last breath.

But it was He who filled their houses with good things. The counsel of the wicked is far from me!
