and it cometh to pass, when they have gone round the days of the banquet, that Job doth send and sanctify them, and hath risen early in the morning, and caused to ascend burnt-offerings -- the number of them all -- for Job said, 'Perhaps my sons have sinned, yet blessed God in their heart.' Thus doth Job all the days.

The work of his hands Thou hast blessed, and his substance hath spread in the land, and yet, put forth, I pray Thee, Thy hand, and strike against anything that he hath -- if not: to Thy face he doth bless Thee!'

While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The fire of God is fallen from heaven, and hath burned up the sheep, and the servants, and consumed them; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.

Even though I am righteous, my mouth will condemn me; [even though] I [am] blameless, yet it would pronounce me guilty.

Though I were perfect, yet would I not know my soul: I would despise my life.

I am afraid of all my pains and worries [yet to come];I know that You will not acquit me and leave me unpunished.

Yet shalt thou plunge me in the ditch, and mine own clothes shall abhor me.

There is not yet a mediator between us, who would set his hand on the two of us,

‘According to Your knowledge I am indeed not guilty,Yet there is no deliverance from Your hand.

Thine hands have made me and fashioned me together round about; yet thou dost destroy me.

Yet You concealed these thoughts in Your heart;I know that this was Your hidden plan:

If I be wicked, woe unto me; and if I be righteous, yet will I not lift up my head. I am full of confusion; therefore see thou mine affliction;

And yet, O that God had spoken! And doth open His lips with thee.

Yet a senseless man will make bold, though man be born like the foal of a wild ass.

And yet, ask, I pray thee, One of the beasts, and it doth shew thee, And a fowl of the heavens, And it doth declare to thee.

Yet I prefer to speak to the Almightyand argue my case before God.

And yet, ye are forgers of falsehood, Physicians of nought -- all of you,

Yet dost thou open thine eyes upon such a one, and bringest me into judgment with thee?

Yet through the scent of water it will bud, and bring forth boughs like a plant.

And yet, a falling mountain wasteth away, And a rock is removed from its place.

Yet you dispense with fear of God and hinder meditations before God.

Yet the righteous person will hold to his way,and the one whose hands are clean will grow stronger.

And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:

Yet he shall perish for ever like his own dung: they which have seen him shall say, Where is he?

Though his bones were full of youthful vigor; yet they will lie down with him in the dust.

Yet his meat in his bowels is turned, it is the gall of asps within him.

Yet another person dies with a bitter soul,having never tasted prosperity.

Yet shall he be brought to the grave, and shall remain in the tomb.

Yet you say: “What does God know?Can He judge through thick darkness?

Yet he filled their houses with good things: but the counsel of the wicked is far from me.

"If I go to the east, he is not there, and to the west, yet I do not perceive him.

Yet I am not destroyed by the darkness,by the thick darkness that covers my face. >

Men groan from out of the city, and the soul of the wounded crieth out: yet God layeth not folly to them.

Yet God drags away the mighty by His power;when He rises up, they have no assurance of life.

Though it be given him to be in safety, whereon he resteth; yet his eyes are upon their ways.

They are exalted; yet a little while, and they are gone; Yea, they are brought low, they are taken out of the way as all others, And are cut off as the tops of the ears of grain.

Yet these are just the fringes of His ways [mere samples of His power],The faintest whisper of His voice!Who can contemplate the thunder of His [full] mighty power?”

Those who survive him will be buried by the plague,yet their widows will not weep for them.

When the Almighty was yet with me, when my children were about me;

Yet no one would stretch out his handagainst a ruined manwhen he cries out to him for helpbecause of his distress.

Also against his three friends was his wrath kindled, because they had found no answer, and yet had condemned Job.

I paid close attention to you.Yet no one proved Job wrong;not one of you refuted his arguments.

And yet, I pray thee, O Job, Hear my speech and to all my words give ear.

Yet God finds occasions with me; he regards me as his enemy!

He will look at men and say,“I have sinned and perverted what was right;yet I did not get what I deserved.

For Job has declared, “I am righteous,yet God has deprived me of justice.

Although I am right, I am accounted a liar.My wound is incurable, though I am without transgression.’

Indeed, he has not yet appointed [a time] for man to go to God in the judgment.

But when God is silent, who can declare Him guilty?When He hides His face, who can see Him?Yet He watches over both individuals and nations,

Although thou sayest thou shalt not see him, yet judgment is before him; therefore trust thou in him.

But now, because it is not so, he hath visited in his anger; yet he knoweth it not in great extremity:

Suffer me a little, and I will shew thee that I have yet to speak on God's behalf.

“Behold, God is mighty, and yet does not despise anyone [nor regard any as trivial];He is mighty in the strength and power of understanding.

Yet now you are obsessed with the judgment due the wicked;judgment and justice have seized you.

Yet out of the north He comes, shrouded in a golden glow;awesome majesty surrounds Him.

And yet when she gets ready to run, she laughs at the horse and its rider."

He is the grandest of God's undertakings, yet his creator is approaching him with his sword.
