'Long' in the Bible
I remember [the] days of long ago; I meditate on all your doings. I muse on the labor of your hands.
Let me experienceYour faithful love in the morning,for I trust in You.Reveal to me the way I should gobecause I long for You.
I will praise the Lord all my life;I will sing to my God as long as I live.
How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?
For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.
Long life is in her right hand;in her left, riches and honor.
Listen, my son: accept my words, and you'll live a long, long time.
How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when wilt thou arise out of thy sleep?
For the goodman is not at home, he is gone a long journey:
“The Lord made meat the beginning of His creation,before His works of long ago.
For because of me you will live a long life, and years will be added to your life.
Fearing the LORD prolongs life, but the wicked will not live long.
Human beings long for grace, and it's better to be poor than a man of deceit.
He coveteth greedily all the day long: but the righteous giveth and spareth not.
Have I not written to you excellent thingsIn counsels and knowledge,
Let not thine heart envy sinners: but be thou in the fear of the LORD all the day long.
They that tarry long at the wine; they that go to seek mixed wine.
By long forbearing is a prince persuaded, and a soft tongue breaketh the bone.
When a land does wrong, it has many princes,But when the ruler is a man of understanding and knowledge, its stability endures.
A ruler who lacks understanding is a cruel oppressor, [but] those who hate unjust gain will have long days.
She comforts, encourages, and does him only good and not evilAll the days of her life.
Is there a thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been long ago, in the ages which were before us.
And I turned myself to behold wisdom, and madness, and folly: for what can the man do that cometh after the king? even that which hath been done long ago.
For neither the wise nor the fool will be long remembered, since in days to come everything will be forgotten. The wise man dies the same way as the fool, does he not?
For all day long his work produces pain and frustration, and even at night his mind cannot relax! This also is futile!
I know that there is nothing better for them, than to rejoice, and to do good so long as they live.
That which is was long ago, and that which is to be hath already been; and God bringeth back again that which is past.
Wherefore I praised the dead that have been long dead more than the living that are yet alive;
A man may father a hundred children and live many years. No matter how long he lives, if he is not satisfied by good things and does not even have a proper burial, I say that a stillborn child is better off than he.
Whatever exists was given its name long ago, and it is known what man is. But he is not able to contend with the One stronger than he.

Though the Lord desired to crush him and make him ill, once restitution is made, he will see descendants and enjoy long life, and the Lord's purpose will be accomplished through him.
"Enlarge the site of your tent, and let them stretch out the tent curtains of your dwelling place. You must not spare; make your tent cords long and strengthen your pegs,
Because of the long distance you must travel, you get tired, but you do not say, 'I give up.' You get renewed energy, so you don't collapse.

You deceived me, LORD, and I've been deceived. You overpowered me, and you prevailed. I've become a laughing stock all day long, and everyone mocks me.
For each time I speak, I cry aloud;I proclaim violence and destruction,Because for me the word of the Lord has resultedIn reproach and derision all day long.
They will never return to the land they long to return to.”
How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? yea, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart;
How long will they go on plotting to make my people forget who I am through the dreams they tell one another? That is just as bad as what their ancestors did when they forgot who I am by worshiping the god Baal.
