And Aaron said to Moses, Behold, this day they have offered their sin offering and their burnt offering before Jehovah. And such things have happened to me. And if I had eaten the sin offering today, should it have been accepted in the sight of Jehovah?

And you shall go to your fathers in peace. You shall be buried in a good old age.

For to you it is given on behalf of Christ not only to believe on Him, but also to suffer for His sake,

For we who live are always being delivered to death for Jesus' sake, so that the life of Jesus might also be revealed in our body.

Therefore I am pleased in weaknesses, in insults, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake; for when I am weak, then I am powerful.

But your iniquities have come between you and your God, and your sins have hidden His face from you, from hearing.

to a land flowing with milk and honey. For I will not go up in the midst of you, for you are a stiff-necked people, lest I consume you in the way.

Israel has sinned, and they have also broken My covenant which I commanded them, and have even taken of the cursed things, and have also stolen and pretended falsely. I will not be with you again, unless you destroy the one who is cursed from among you.

If I regard iniquity in my heart, Jehovah will not hear;

And there is no one who calls on Your name, who stirs up himself to take hold of You. For You have hidden Your face from us, and have melted us away because of our iniquities.

Therefore, even as through one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin, and so death passed on all men inasmuch as all sinned:

But she who lives in self-pleasure has died while living.

And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?

having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart.

And why do You not pardon my transgression, and take away my iniquity? For now I shall sleep in the dust, and You shall seek me in the morning, but I shall not be.

And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

And going in He said to them, Why do you make a tumult and weep? The girl is not dead, but sleeps.

Therefore, even as through one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin, and so death passed on all men inasmuch as all sinned:

There is no man who has power over the spirit to keep the spirit; nor power in the day of death; and there is no discharge in that war; nor shall wickedness deliver its owners.

For we must all die, and we are as water spilled on the ground, which cannot be gathered up again. And God does not take a life, but has devised plans so that the outcast is not cast out from Him.

For he who died has been justified from sin.

The dead do not praise Jehovah, nor do any who go down into silence.

For the living know that they shall die; but the dead do not know anything, nor do they have any more a reward; for their memory is forgotten. Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; nor do they any longer have a part forever in all that is done under the sun.

For the grave cannot praise You, death can not rejoice in You; they who go down into the pit cannot hope for Your truth.

For if you live according to the flesh, you shall die. But if you through the Spirit mortify the deeds of the body, you shall live.

Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. The second death has no authority over these, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and will reign with Him a thousand years.

Again, when I say to the wicked, You shall surely die; if he turns from his sin and does justice and right; if the wicked gives back the pledge, gives again what he had robbed, walks in the statutes of life without committing iniquity, then he shall surely live; he shall not die.

The veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. Then a vessel full of vinegar was set. And they filled a sponge with sour wine and put it upon hyssop, and put it to His mouth. Then when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, It is finished! And He bowed His head and gave up the spirit.

Have mercy on me, O Jehovah; see my trouble from those who hate me, You who lift me up from the gates of death,

And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Have the gates of death been opened to you? Or have you seen the gates of the shadow of death?

I said in the cutting off of my days, I shall go to the gates of the grave; I have numbered the rest of my years.

For the kingdom is Jehovah's; and He is the ruler among the nations. All the fat ones on the earth shall eat and worship; all those who go down to the dust shall bow before Him; and none can keep alive his own soul.

My soul is weary of my life; I will leave my complaint on my self; I will speak in the bitterness of my soul.

Who will grant that You would hide me in the grave, that You would keep me secret, until Your wrath is past, that You would set me a fixed time and remember me?

Oh that I might have my desire, and that God would grant the thing that I long for! Even that it would please God to destroy me; that He would loose His hand and cut me off! And it is yet my comfort; yea, I would rejoice in pain, though He did not spare me; for I have not hidden the words of the Holy One. read more.
What is my strength, that I should hope? And what is my end, that I should be patient?

Is there not a warfare to man on earth? Are not his days also like the days of a hireling? As a servant earnestly desires the shadow, and as a hireling looks for his wages, so I am made to possess months of vanity, and weary nights are appointed to me.

And if Christ is in you, indeed the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of the One who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, the One who raised up Christ from the dead shall also make your mortal bodies alive by His Spirit who dwells in you.

But someone will say, How are the dead raised up, and with what body do they come? Foolish one! What you sow is not made alive unless it dies. And what you sow, you do not sow the body that is going to be, but a bare grain (perhaps of wheat or of some of the rest). read more.

If then you died with Christ from the elements of the world, why, as though living in the world, are you subject to its ordinances:

And if Christ is in you, indeed the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of the One who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, the One who raised up Christ from the dead shall also make your mortal bodies alive by His Spirit who dwells in you.

Let it not be! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? Do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into His death? Therefore we were buried with Him by baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father; even so we also should walk in newness of life. read more.
