After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that no wind should blow on the earth, or on the sea, or upon any tree. and, passing by Mysia, they came down to Troas. And a vision appeared to Paul by night: a certain man of Macedonia was standing, and beseeching him, saying, "Crossing over into Macedonia, help us!" And, when he saw the vision, straightway we sought to go forth into Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to proclaim the Good News to them.

He will glorify Me; because He will take of Mine, and will declare it to you. All things whatsoever the Father hath are Mine; on this account, I said, that He taketh of Mine, and will declare it to you.

By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured, as seeing Him Who is invisible.

"And, if your right eye is causing you to stumble, pluck it out, and cast it from you; for it is profitable for you that one of your members should perish, and not your whole body be cast into Hell.

And, seeing her, the Lord was moved with compassion towards her, and said to her, "Weep not."

Jesus, therefore, when He saw her weeping, and the Jews weeping who came with her, groaned in the spirit, and troubled Himself;

Jesus, seeing this man lying, and knowing that already for a long time he had been thus, saith to him, "Do you wish to be made well?"

And, when He came to the place, Jesus, looking up, said to him, "Zacchaeus, hastening, come down; for to-day I must abide in your house."

And, having been immersed, Jesus went up straightway from the water; and, behold, the heavens were opened; and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove, coming upon Him;

and the Holy Spirit descended upon Him in bodily form, as a dove; and a voice came out of Heaven, "Thou art My Son, the Beloved, in Whom I delighted."

And John testified, saying, "I have beheld the Spirit descending as a dove out of Heaven, and He abode upon Him. And I knew Him not; but He who sent me to immerse in water, He said to me, 'Upon Whomsoever you shall see the Spirit descending and abiding on Him, the Same is He Who immerseth in the Holy Spirit.' And I have seen, and have testified, that This is the Son of God."

And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens rent apart, and the Spirit as a dove descending upon Him.

And, as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up; that every one who believes in Him may have eternal life.

For ye have not come to a mount that is touched and burning with fire, and to blackness, and darkness, and tempest, and the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice those who heard entreated that no word more should be added to them; for they could not bear that which was being commanded: "And, if a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned"; read more.
and so terrible was the appearance, Moses said, "I am exceedingly frightened and in fear!"

because all that is in the world??he desire of the flesh, the desire of the eyes, and the vain-glory of life??s not of the Father, but is of the world.

Again the Devil takes Him into an exceedingly high mountain, and shows Him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;

And it came to pass, about eight days after these words, that, taking Peter, and John, and James, He went up into the mountain to pray. And it came to pass, as He was praying, that the appearance of His countenance was altered, and His raiment became white and dazzling. who, appearing in glory, were speaking of His departure which He was about to accomplish at Jerusalem. Now Peter and those with him had become heavy with sleep; but, having watched through it, they saw His glory, and the two men who were standing with Him. And it came to pass, as they were parting from Him, that Peter said to Jesus, "Master, it is good that we are here; and let us make three tents; one for Thee, one for Moses, and one for Elijah;" not knowing what he was saying. Now, while he was saying these things, there came a cloud, and it was overshadowing them; and they feared, as they entered into the cloud. And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, "This is My Son, the Chosen; hear ye Him." And, when the voice came, Jesus was found alone. And they kept silent, and told no one, in those days, any of the things which they had seen.

And, after six days, Jesus taketh with Him Peter, and James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into a high mountain apart; and He was transfigured before them; and His face shone as the sun, and His garments became white as the light. And, behold, there appeared to them Moses and Elijah talking with Him. read more.
And Peter, answering, said to Jesus," Lord, it is good that we are here. If Thou wilt, I will make here three tents??ne for Thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah." While he was yet speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them. And, behold, a voice out of the cloud, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in Whom I delighted; hear Him." And the disciples, hearing it, fell on their face, and were exceedingly afraid. And Jesus came near, and, touching them, said, "Arise, and be not afraid." And lifting up their eyes, they saw no one, except Jesus only. And, as they were coming down out of the mountain, Jesus commanded them, saying, "Tell the vision to no one, until the Son of Man be raised from among the dead."

Am I not free? Am I not an apostle? Have I not seen Jesus our Lord? Are ye not my work in the Lord?

And, as he was journeying, it came to pass, that he was drawing nigh to Damascus; and suddenly there flashed around him a light from Heaven; and, having fallen upon the ground, he heard a voice saying to him, "Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?" And he said, "Who art Thou, Lord?" And He said, "I am Jesus Whom you are persecuting. read more.
But arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told you what you must do."

And He said, "Come." And, going down from the boat, Peter walked upon the water, and came to Jesus. But, seeing the wind, he was frightened; and, beginning to sink, he cried out, saying, "Lord, save me!"

And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fallen out of the heaven to the earth, and there was given to him the key of the pit of the abyss.

And the third angel sounded; and there fell out of the heaven a great star, burning as a torch, and it fell on the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of the waters. And the name of the star is called Wormwood. And the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many of the men died in consequence of the waters, because they were made bitter.

And another angel came forth out from the altar, he that has authority over the fire; and he called with a great voice to him who had the sharp sickle, saying, "Send forth your sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; because her grapes were ripe." And the angel thrust his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.

And I saw another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he was speaking as a dragon. And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his sight. And he makes the earth and those dwelling therein, to worship the first beast, whose death-stroke was healed. And he does great signs, that he should even make fire to come down out of the heaven to the earth, in the sight of men. read more.
And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by reason of the signs which it was given him to do in the sight of the beast; saying to those dwelling on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, who has the stroke of the sword, and lived. And it was given to him to give spirit to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as worship not the image of the beast should be killed. And he causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free and the bond, that there be given them a mark on their right hand, or on their forehead; and that no one should be able to buy or sell, except him who has the mark, the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. He that has understanding, let him count the number of the beast; for it is a number of a man; and his number is six hundred and sixty six.

And he seized the dragon, the old serpent, which is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years, and cast him into the abyss, and shut it, and sealed it over him, that he should deceive the nations no more, until the thousand years should be finished; after these things he must be loosed for a little time. read more.

And they went up over the breadth of the earth, and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city; and fire came down out of the heaven, and devoured them. And the Devil who deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where also the beast and the false prophet were cast; and they shall be tormented, day and night, forever and ever.

And another, a second angel, followed, saying, "It fell, it fell, Babylon the Great, that has made all the nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication!" And another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a great voice, "If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, he also shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which has been mingled undiluted in the cup of His anger; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and before the Lamb. read more.
And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receives the mark of his name. Here is the patience of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. Yea," saith the Spirit, "that they may rest from their labors; for their works follow with them."

I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day; and I heard behind me a great voice as of a trumpet, saying, "What you see, write in a book, and send it to the seven assemblies; to Ephesus, and to Smyrna, and to Pergamum, and to Thyatira, and to Sardis, and to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea." And I turned to see the voice that was speaking with me; and, having turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; read more.
and, in the midst of the candlesticks, One like the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girded at the breasts with a golden girdle. And His head and hair were white as white wool, as snow; and His eyes were as a flame of fire; and His feet like burnished brass, as if glowing in a furnace; and His voice as the voice of many waters; and having in His right hand seven stars; and a sharp, two-edged sword proceeding out of His mouth; and His countenance was as the sun shining in his power. And, when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead! And He laid His right hand on me, saying, "Fear not; I am the First and the Last, and the Living One; and I was dead; and, behold, I am alive forevermore; and I have the keys of death and of Hades. Write, therefore, the things which you saw, and the things which are, and the things which are about to take place after these; the mystery of the seven stars which you saw in My right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of seven assemblies; and the seven candlesticks are seven assemblies."

(12:18) and he stood upon the sand of the sea. (13:1) And I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads, and on his horns ten diadems, and upon his heads names of blasphemy. And the beast which I saw was like a leopard, and his feet as of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion; and the dragon gave him his power, and his throne, and great authority; and I saw one of his heads, as if smitten to death. And his death-stroke was healed; and all the earth wondered after the beast. read more.
And they worshiped the dragon, because he gave his authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, "Who is like the beast, and who is able to make war with him?" And there was given to him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and authority was given him to work forty-two months. And he opened his mouth for blasphemies against God, to blaspheme His name, and His Tabernacle, even those dwelling in Heaven. And it was given him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them; and there was given him authority over every tribe, and people, and tongue, and nation. And all who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the founding of a world. If anyone has an ear, let him hear. If anyone is for captivity, into captivity he goes; if anyone shall kill with a sword, with a sword he must be killed. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

And I saw another strong angel, descending out of Heaven, clothed with a cloud, and the rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire. And he had in his hand a little book opened; and he set his right foot on the sea, and his left on the land; and he cried with a great voice, as a lion roars; and, when he cried, the seven thunders uttered their voices. read more.
And, when the seven thunders spake, I was about to write; and I heard a voice out of Heaven, saying, "Seal up the things which the seven thunders spake, and write them not." And the angel, whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land, lifted up his right hand to Heaven, and swore by Him Who liveth forever and ever, Who created the heaven and the things therein, and the earth and the things therein, and the sea and the things therein, that there shall be delay no longer; but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, the mystery of God was also finished, according to the good news He proclaimed to His servants the prophets. And the voice which I heard from Heaven, I heard again, talking with me, and saying, "Go, take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel, who is standing upon the sea and upon the land." And I went to the angel, saying to him, that he should give me the little book. And he says to me, "Take, and eat it up; and it will make your belly bitter, but in your mouth it will be sweet as honey." And I took the little book out of the hand of the angel, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth as sweet as honey; and, when I ate it, my belly was made bitter.

And the number of the armies of the horsemen was twice ten thousand times ten thousand: I heard the number of them. And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and those who sat on them, having breastplates as of fire, and hyacinth, and brimstone. And the heads of the horses are as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths proceed fire, and smoke, and brim-stone. By these three plagues the third part of men was killed, by reason of the fire, and the smoke, and the brimstone, that was issuing out of their mouths. read more.
For the power of the horses is in their mouth and in their tails; for their tails are like serpents, having heads, and with them they hurt.

And another sign was seen in the heaven; and, behold, a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his heads seven diadems. And his tail drags the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth. And the dragon has taken his stand before the woman who is about to bring forth; in order that, when she brings forth, he may devour her child. And she brought forth a man-child, who is about to rule all the nations with a rod of iron; and her child was caught up to God and to His throne. read more.
And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that they may nourish her there a thousand two hundred and sixty days. And there was war in the heaven; Michael and his angels went forth to war with the dragon. And the dragon made war, and his angels; and they prevailed not, nor was their place found any more in the heaven. And the great dragon was cast down, the old serpent, he that is called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole habitable earth; he was cast down to the earth, and his angels were cast down with him. And I heard a great voice in Heaven, saying, "Now came the salvation, and the power, and the Kingdom of our God, and the authority of His Christ; because the accuser of our brethren was cast down, he who accused them before our God day and night; and they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb, and because of the word of their testimony, and they loved not their soul, even to death. On this account, rejoice, ye Heavens, and ye who dwell in them! Woe to the earth, and to the sea! because the Devil went down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has but a little time. And, when the dragon saw that he was cast down to the earth, he persecuted the woman who brought forth the man-child. And there were given to the woman the two wings of the great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. And the serpent cast out of his mouth, after the woman, water as a river, that he might cause her to be borne away by the river. And the earth helped the woman; and the earth opened her mouth, and drank down the river which the dragon cast out of his mouth. And the dragon was angry with the woman, and went away to make war with the rest of her seed, who keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus;

And I will give to My two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth." These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks, that stand before the Lord of the earth. And, if anyone wishes to injure them, fire issues out of their mouth, and devours their enemies; and, if anyone wishes to injure them, he must in this manner be slain. read more.
These have authority to shut the heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy; and they have authority over the waters, to turn them into blood, and to smite the earth with every plague, as often as they may wish. And when they finish their testimony, the beast that comes up out of the abyss will make war with them, and overcome them, and kill them. And their corpses will lie on the street of the great city, which, spiritually, is called Sodom and Egypt, where their Lord also was crucified. And some of the peoples, and tribes, and tongues, and nations, look upon their corpses three days and a half; and they suffer not their corpses to be put into a tomb. And those who dwell on the earth rejoice over them, and make merry, and they will send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented those dwelling on the earth. And, after the three days and a half, the spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell on those who beheld them. And they heard a great voice out of Heaven, saying to them, "Come up hither." And they went up into Heaven, in the cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

But the angel said to him, "Fear not, Zacharias; because your supplication was heard; and your wife Elizabeth shall bear you a son, and you shall call his name John. And you will have joy and gladness; and many will rejoice at his birth; for he will be great before the Lord; and he will drink no wine nor strong drink; and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother's womb. read more.
And many of the sons of Israel will he turn to the Lord their God. And he will go before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the disobedient to walk in the wisdom of the righteous, to make ready for the Lord a people prepared. And Zacharias said to the angel, "By what shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife is far advanced in her days." And the angel, answering, said to him, "I am Gabriel, who have been standing near before God, and I was sent to speak to you, and to proclaim these glad tidings to you. And, behold, you shall be silent, and not able to speak, until the day that these things shall come to pass; because you did not believe my words, which shall be fulfilled in their season." And the people were waiting for Zacharias, and they were wondering at his tarrying in the temple. And, having come out, he was not able to speak to them, and they perceived that he had seen a vision in the temple; and he kept making signs to them, and remained dumb.

And there was a certain disciple in Damascus, Ananias by name; and the Lord said to him in a vision, "Ananias?" And he said, "Behold, I am here, Lord!" And the Lord said to him, "Arise, go to the street that is called Straight, and inquire in the house of Judas for one named Saul of Tarsus; for, behold, he is praying; and in a vision he saw a man, Ananias by name, coming in, and laying his hands on him, that he might receive sight."

But he, being full of the Holy Spirit, looking intently into Heaven, saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God; and he said, "Behold I see Heaven opened, and the Son of Man standing on the right hand of God!"

Now, on the morrow, as they were journeying, and coming near to the city, Peter went up on the housetop to pray, about the sixth hour. And he became very hungry, and wished to eat; and, while they were making ready, there came upon him a trance; and he beholds the heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending, as a great sheet, let down by four corners upon the earth; read more.
in which were all the four-footed beasts, and creeping things of the earth, and birds of the heaven. And there came a voice to him, "Arising, Peter, kill and eat." But Peter said, "By no means, Lord! because never at any time did I eat anything common or unclean." And a voice came to him again, a second time, "What God cleansed, count not common." Now this happened three times, and straightway the vessel was taken up into heaven. Now, as Peter was much perplexed in himself as to what the vision which he saw might mean, behold, the men who were sent by Cornelius, having made inquiry for Simon's house, stood at the gate; and, calling, were inquiring whether Simon who was surnamed Peter, was lodging there.

It is needful for me to glory, though, indeed, not profitable; but I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord. I know a man in Christ, fourteen years ago (whether in the body I know not, or whether out of the body I know not, God knoweth), such a one caught up even to the Third Heaven. And the Lord said to Paul, through a vision by night, "Fear not, but speak, and be not silent; because I am with you, and no one shall set on you to harm you; because I have much people in this city.

And I saw another angel flying in mid-heaven, having the eternal Gospel to proclaim to those who dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and tribe, and tongue, and people; saying with a great voice, "Fear God, and give glory to Him, because the hour of His judgment came; and worship Him Who made the heaven, and the earth, and the sea, and fountains of waters."

And I saw an angel coming down out of Heaven, having the key of the abyss, and a great chain upon his hand. And he seized the dragon, the old serpent, which is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years, and cast him into the abyss, and shut it, and sealed it over him, that he should deceive the nations no more, until the thousand years should be finished; after these things he must be loosed for a little time.

And there was given to me a reed, like a staff, one Saying, "Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and those worshipping therein. And the court which is without the temple leave without, and measure it not; because it was given to the gentiles, and they will tread down the holy city forty-two months.

And I saw, and, behold, the Lamb, standing on the mount Zion, and with Him a hundred and forty-four thousand, having His name, and the name of His Father, written on their foreheads. And I heard a voice out of Heaven, as a voice of many waters, and as a voice of great thunder; and the voice which I heard was as that of harpers, harping with their harps. And they sing as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four living creatures and the elders; and no one was able to learn the song, except the hundred and forty-four thousand, who had been purchased out of the earth. read more.
These are those who were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are those who follow the Lamb whithersoever He goeth. These were redeemed from among men, a first fruit to God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was found no falsehood. They are without blemish.

After these things I heard as it were a great voice of a great multitude in Heaven, saying, "Hallelujah! the salvation, and the glory, and the power, are our God's; because true and righteous are His judgments; because He judged the great harlot; who, indeed, corrupted the earth with her fornication, and He avenged the blood of His servants at her hand." And a second time they say, "Hallelujah!" And her smoke ascends forever and ever. read more.
And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down, and worshiped God, Who sitteth on the throne, saying, "Amen! Hallelujah!" And a voice came forth from the throne, saying, "Give praise to our God, all ye His servants, ye who fear Him, the small and the great." And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunders, saying, "Hallelujah! because the Lord our God, the Almighty, became King! Let us rejoice, and exult, and give the glory to Him; because the marriage of the Lamb came, and His wife made herself ready." And it was given to her that she should clothe herself in fine linen, bright, pure; for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. And he says to me, "Write, Happy are those who have been called to the marriage supper of the Lamb." And he says to me, "These are true words of God."

and he cried with a great voice, as a lion roars; and, when he cried, the seven thunders uttered their voices. And, when the seven thunders spake, I was about to write; and I heard a voice out of Heaven, saying, "Seal up the things which the seven thunders spake, and write them not."

And there was war in the heaven; Michael and his angels went forth to war with the dragon. And the dragon made war, and his angels; and they prevailed not, nor was their place found any more in the heaven. And the great dragon was cast down, the old serpent, he that is called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole habitable earth; he was cast down to the earth, and his angels were cast down with him.

And out of the smoke came forth locusts upon the earth; and authority was given to them, as the scorpions of the earth have authority. And it was said to them, that they should not injure the grass of the earth, nor any green thing, nor any tree, but only such men as have not the seal of God upon their foreheads. And it was given to them, that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months. And their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when it strikes a man. read more.
And in those days will men seek death, and shall in no wise find it; and they will desire to die, and death flees from them. And the shapes of the locusts were like horses prepared for battle; and on their heads as it were crowns like gold; and their faces were as the faces of men. And they had hair as the hair of women; and their teeth were as the teeth of lions. And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running into battle. And they have tails like scorpions, and stings; and in their tails is their power to hurt men five months. They have over them as king the angel of the abyss: his name in Hebrew is Abaddon; and, in the Greek, he has a name Apollyon.

and suddenly there came out of Heaven a sound, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. And there appeared to them tongues, as of fire, distributed among them; and it sat upon each one of them.

And I saw another angel ascending from the rising of the sun, having a seal of the living God; and he cried with a great voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, saying, "Hurt not the earth, nor the sea, nor the trees, until we shall seal the servants of our God on their foreheads." And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea; and the third part of the sea became blood; and the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, that had souls, died; and the third part of the ships was destroyed.

And another angel came forth out from the altar, he that has authority over the fire; and he called with a great voice to him who had the sharp sickle, saying, "Send forth your sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; because her grapes were ripe."

And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne; and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged out of the things that were written in the books, according to their works.

The second woe departed; behold, the third woe comes quickly.

and before the throne, as it were a glassy sea like crystal; and, in the midst of the throne, and around the throne, four living creatures full of eyes before and behind. And the first living creature was like a lion; and the second living creature like a calf; and the third living creature having a face as of a man; and the fourth living creature was like an eagle flying. And the four living creatures, having each one of them six wings, are full of eyes around and within; and they have no rest, day and night, saying, "Holy! Holy! Holy! the Lord God, the Almighty, Who was, and Who is, and Who is coming!"

And I saw, in the right hand of Him Who was sitting on the throne, a book written within and on the back, sealed up with seven seals. And I saw a strong angel, proclaiming with a great voice, "Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose its seals!" And no one in Heaven, or on the earth, or under the earth, was able to open the book or to look upon it. read more.
And I was weeping much, because no one was found worthy to open the book, or to look upon it; and one of the elders says to me, "Weep not; behold, the Lion Who is of the tribe of Judah, the root of David, prevailed to open the book, and its seven seals.

And Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death, even the lake of fire.

Straightway I was in the Spirit, and, behold, there was a throne set in Heaven, and One sitting upon the throne; and He Who was sitting was, in appearance, like a jasper stone and a sardius; there was a rainbow round about the throne, in appearance, like an emerald;

And I saw a great white throne, and Him Who was sitting thereon, from Whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and no place was found for them.

And in that hour there was a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell; and there were killed in the earthquake seven thousand persons; and the rest became terrified, and gave glory to the God of Heaven.

And I saw, and, behold, a white horse, and He Who sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given to him; and he went forth conquering, and to conquer. And, when He opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, "Come." And there went forth another horse, a red one; and to him who was sitting thereon it was given to take peace from the earth, and that they should slay one another; and there was given to him a great sword. read more.
And, when He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature saying, "Come." And I saw, and, behold, a black horse, and he who sat on him had a balance in his hand. And I heard as if a voice in the midst of the four living creatures, saying, "A measure of wheat for a denary, and three measures of barley for a denary; and the oil and the wine do not hurt." And, when He opened the fourth seal, I heard a voice of the fourth living creature saying, "Come." And I saw, and behold, a pale horse; and he that sat on him, his name was Death; and Hades was following with him. And there was given to them authority over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with famine, and with death, and by the wild beasts of the earth.

And the fourth angel sounded; and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars, that the third part of them might be darkened, and that the day might not shine for the third part of it, and the night in like manner.

And the first went, and poured out his bowl into the earth; and there came a baneful and painful sore upon the men who had the mark of the beast, and who worshiped his image.

saying to the sixth angel, who had the trumpet; "Loose the four angels that are bound in the great river Euphrates."

And when they finish their testimony, the beast that comes up out of the abyss will make war with them, and overcome them, and kill them.

These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks, that stand before the Lord of the earth.

And the name of the star is called Wormwood. And the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many of the men died in consequence of the waters, because they were made bitter.

And the court which is without the temple leave without, and measure it not; because it was given to the gentiles, and they will tread down the holy city forty-two months.

And the second poured out his bowl into the sea; and it became blood, as of a dead man; and every living soul died, the things in the sea.

And after these things I saw, and the Temple of the Tabernacle of the testimony in Heaven was opened;

And he showed me a river of water of life, bright as crystal, issuing forth out of the throne of God and of the Lamb,

And I saw as it were a glassy sea mingled with fire; and those who were victorious over the beast, and over his image, and over the number of his name, standing by the glassy sea, having harps of God.

and before the throne, as it were a glassy sea like crystal; and, in the midst of the throne, and around the throne, four living creatures full of eyes before and behind.

in the midst of its street. And on either side of the river, was a tree of life, producing twelve fruits, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

And a vision appeared to Paul by night: a certain man of Macedonia was standing, and beseeching him, saying, "Crossing over into Macedonia, help us!"

and in a vision he saw a man, Ananias by name, coming in, and laying his hands on him, that he might receive sight."

and around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones twenty-four elders sitting, arrayed in white garments, and on their heads crowns of gold.

And the first sounded; and there followed hail and fire, mingled with blood, and they were cast to the earth; and the third part of the earth was burnt up, and the third part of the trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

And, when He took the book, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, having, each, a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.

And out of the throne proceed lightnings and voices and thunderings; and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God;

After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that no wind should blow on the earth, or on the sea, or upon any tree.

After these things I saw, and, behold, a door opened in Heaven; and the first voice which I heard was as a voice of a trumpet speaking with me, saying, "Come up hither, and I will show you the things which must take place after these."

And the angel has taken the censer; and he filled it with the fire of the altar, and cast it to the earth; and there followed thunders, and voices, and lightnings, and an earthquake.

And he opened the pit of the abyss; and there went up a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.
