Search the scriptures: in them ye think ye have eternal life: and it is they that testify of me. Yet ye will not come to me, that ye may have life.

In like manner, ye husbands, dwell according to knowledge with the woman, as the weaker vessel; giving them honour, as being also joint-heirs of the grace of life, that your prayers be not hindered.
As his divine power hath given us all things that pertain to life and godliness, thro' the knowledge of him that hath called us by glory and virtue,
He that believeth on the Son, hath everlasting life: but he that obeyeth not the Son, shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him, may not perish, but have everlasting life.
Verily, verily I say unto you, he that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and cometh not into condemnation, but is passed from death to life.
And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one who seeth the Son, and believeth on him, should have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
But these are written, that ye may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing ye may have life thro' his name.

He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world, shall preserve it to life eternal. If any man serve me, let him follow me, and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will the Father honour.
Because straight is the gate and narrow is the way that leadeth to life, and few there are that find it.
Or what shall a man give, in exchange for his soul? For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father, with the holy angels.

And we believe, that if we are dead with Christ, we shall also live with him: Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead, dieth no more; death no more hath dominion over him. For in that he died, he died to sin once for all; but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.read more.
So reckon ye also yourselves to be dead to sin, and alive to God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
