'Again' in the Bible
Turn us again, O God of hosts, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.
O God of hosts, turn again now, we beseech You;Look down from heaven and see, and take care of this vine,
Turn us again, O LORD God of hosts, cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.
Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?
I will hear what God the LORD will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.
Certainly his loyal followers will soon experience his deliverance; then his splendor will again appear in our land.
for justice will again be righteous,and all the upright in heart will follow it.
He makes your mouth full of good things, so that your strength is made new again like the eagle's.
Thou hast set a bound that they may not pass over; that they turn not again to cover the earth.
They made God angry again at the waters of Meribah, so that Moses was troubled because of them;
Again and again he made them free; but their hearts were turned against his purpose, and they were overcome by their sins.
They mount up to the heaven, they go down again to the depths: their soul is melted because of trouble.
Again, they are minished and brought low through oppression, affliction, and sorrow.
My soul is wasted with sorrow; give me strength again in keeping with your word
{A Song of degrees.} When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.
Turn again our captivity, O LORD, as the streams in the south.
He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.
Let burning coals fall upon them: let them be cast into the fire; into deep pits, that they rise not up again.
Man's breath goes out, he is turned back again to dust; in that day all his purposes come to an end.
Be turned again by my sharp words: see, I will send the flow of my spirit on you, and make my words clear to you.
None that go unto her return again, neither take they hold of the paths of life.
Say not unto thy neighbour, Go, and come again, and to morrow I will give; when thou hast it by thee.
Evil-doers are overturned and never seen again, but the house of upright men will keep its place.
There are some whose uncontrolled talk is like the wounds of a sword, but the tongue of the wise makes one well again.
He that covereth transgression seeketh love; but he that bringeth a matter up again separateth very friends.
He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.
A man of great wrath shall suffer punishment: for if thou deliver him, yet thou must do it again.
A slothful man hideth his hand in his bosom, and will not so much as bring it to his mouth again.
The food which you have taken will come up again, and your pleasing words will be wasted.
They have stricken me, shalt thou say, and I was not sick; they have beaten me, and I felt it not: when shall I awake? I will seek it yet again.
For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.
Like a dog going back to the food which he has not been able to keep down, is the foolish man doing his foolish acts over again.
The slothful hideth his hand in his bosom; it grieveth him to bring it again to his mouth.
He who makes a hole in the earth will himself go falling into it: and on him by whom a stone is rolled the stone will come back again.
A man hating sharp words and making his heart hard, will suddenly be broken and will not be made well again.
He drinketh, and forgetteth his poverty, And his misery he remembereth not again.
Also, the sun rises and the sun sets;And hastening to its place it rises there again.
The wind goeth toward the south, and turneth about unto the north; it whirleth about continually, and the wind returneth again according to his circuits.
All the rivers run into the sea; yet the sea is not full; unto the place from whence the rivers come, thither they return again.
Whatever has happened, will happen again; whatever has been done, will be done again. There is nothing new on earth.
And I gave my heart to getting knowledge of wisdom, and of the ways of the foolish. And I saw that this again was desire for wind.
And I went again in search of wisdom and of foolish ways. What may the man do who comes after the king? The thing which he has done before.
Then said I in my heart: As it comes to the foolish man, so will it come to me; so why have I been wise overmuch? Then I said in my heart: This again is to no purpose.
And who is to say if that man will be wise or foolish? But he will have power over all my work which I have done and in which I have been wise under the sun. This again is to no purpose.
Because there is a man whose work has been done with wisdom, with knowledge, and with an expert hand; but one who has done nothing for it will have it for his heritage. This again is to no purpose and a great evil.
All his days are sorrow, and his work is full of grief. Even in the night his heart has no rest. This again is to no purpose.
There is nothing better for a man than taking meat and drink, and having delight in his work. This again I saw was from the hand of God.
To the man with whom he is pleased, God gives wisdom and knowledge and joy; but to the sinner he gives the work of getting goods together and storing up wealth, to give to him in whom God has pleasure. This again is to no purpose and desire for wind.
That which is was long ago, and that which is to be hath already been; and God bringeth back again that which is past.
And again, I have seen under the sun the place of judgment -- there is the wicked; and the place of righteousness -- there is the wicked.
All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.
Again, I observed all the acts of oppression being done under the sun. Look at the tears of those who are oppressed; they have no one to comfort them. Power is with those who oppress them; they have no one to comfort them.
Again, I considered all travail, and every right work, that for this a man is envied of his neighbour. This is also vanity and vexation of spirit.
Again, I saw futility under the sun:
It is one who is by himself, without a second, and without son or brother; but there is no end to all his work, and he has never enough of wealth. For whom, then, am I working and keeping myself from pleasure? This again is to no purpose, and a bitter work.
Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone?
There was no end of all the people, of all those whose head he was, but they who come later will have no delight in him. This again is to no purpose and desire for wind.
He who has a love for silver never has enough silver, or he who has love for wealth, enough profit. This again is to no purpose.
As he came from his mother’s womb, so he will go again, naked as he came; he will take nothing for his efforts that he can carry in his hands.
And this again is a great evil, that in all points as he came so will he go; and what profit has he in working for the wind?
Like the cracking of thorns under a pot, so is the laugh of a foolish man; and this again is to no purpose.
And then I saw evil men put to rest, taken even from the holy place; and they went about and were praised in the town because of what they had done. This again is to no purpose.
There is a vanity which is done upon the earth; that there be just men, unto whom it happeneth according to the work of the wicked; again, there be wicked men, to whom it happeneth according to the work of the righteous: I said that this also is vanity.
Furthermore, their love, their hate, and their envy have been long lost. Never again will they have a part in what happens on earth.
Again I saw under the sun that the race is not to the swift, or the battle to the strong, or bread to the wise, or riches to the discerning, or favor to the skillful; rather, time and chance happen to all of them.
This again I have seen under the sun as wisdom and it seemed great to me.
Cast your bread on the surface of the waters, for you will find it after many days.
Let him kiss me over and over again! Your love is better than wine.
"I've taken off my clothes am I supposed to put them on again? I've washed my feet am I supposed to get them dirty again?"

Where will you be stricken again,As you continue in your rebellion?The whole head is sickAnd the whole heart is faint.
If you have a willing attitude and obey, then you will again eat the good crops of the land.
“And I will turn My hand against you,And will [thoroughly] purge away your dross as with lyeAnd remove all your tin (impurity).
And I will give you judges again as at the first, and wise guides as in the past; then you will be named, The Town of Righteousness, the true town.
He will settle disputes among the nationsand provide arbitration for many peoples.They will turn their swords into plowsand their spears into pruning knives.Nations will not take up the sword against other nations,and they will never again train for war.
And the images will never be seen again.
Again, the Lord has said, Because the daughters of Zion are full of pride, and go with outstretched necks and wandering eyes, with their foot-chains sounding when they go:
So the Lord is furious with his people; he lifts his hand and strikes them. The mountains shake, and corpses lie like manure in the middle of the streets. Despite all this, his anger does not subside, and his hand is ready to strike again.
Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they sea with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and turn again, and be healed.
Though a tenth will remain in the land,it will be burned again.Like the terebinth or the oakthat leaves a stump when felled,the holy seed is the stump.
Moreover the LORD spake again unto Ahaz, saying,
The LORD spake also unto me again, saying,
Syria from the east, and the Philistines from the west, they gobbled up Israelite territory. Despite all this, his anger does not subside, and his hand is ready to strike again.
So the sovereign master was not pleased with their young men, he took no pity on their orphans and widows; for the whole nation was godless and did wicked things, every mouth was speaking disgraceful words. Despite all this, his anger does not subside, and his hand is ready to strike again.
Manasseh fought against Ephraim, and Ephraim against Manasseh; together they fought against Judah. Despite all this, his anger does not subside, and his hand is ready to strike again.
You will have no place to go, except to kneel with the prisoners, or to fall among those who have been killed. Despite all this, his anger does not subside, and his hand is ready to strike again.
And it shall come to pass in that day, that the remnant of Israel, and such as are escaped of the house of Jacob, shall no more again stay upon him that smote them; but shall stay upon the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, in truth.

For the Lord will have compassion on Jacob and will choose Israel again. He will settle them on their own land. The foreigner will join them and be united with the house of Jacob.
you will not be united with them in burial, for you have destroyed your land, you have slain your people. People will never mention the descendants of those who practice evil again!
But now the LORD has spoken again: "Within three years, like the years of a contract worker, Moab's glory will be brought into contempt, in spite of all its great multitude, and its survivors will be very few and of no importance."
And the Lord will send punishment on Egypt, and will make them well again; and when they come back to the Lord he will give ear to their prayer and take away their disease.
The [mournful, inspired] oracle (a burden to be carried) concerning the Desert of the Sea (the seasonally flooded plains just south of Babylon):As windstorms in the Negev (the South) sweep through,So it (God’s judgment) comes from the desert, from [the hostile armies of] a terrifying land.
The watchman said,“Morning has come, and also night.If you want to ask, ask!Come back again.”
At that time Tyre will be forgotten for seventy years, the typical life span of a king. At the end of seventy years Tyre will try to attract attention again, like the prostitute in the popular song:
Pick up your lyre,stroll through the city,prostitute forgotten by men.Play skillfully,sing many a song,and you will be thought of again.
At the end of seventy years the Lord will revive Tyre. She will start making money again by selling her services to all the earth's kingdoms.
The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.
