Look what pours out of their mouths! They use their lips like swords, saying "Who will hear us?"
God, you have cast us off; you have breached our defenses and you have become enraged. Return to us!
You made your people go through hard times; you had us drink wine that makes us stagger.
So your loved ones may be delivered, save us by your power and answer us quickly!
Aren't you the one, God, who has cast us off? Didn't you refuse, God, to accompany our armies?

He gives us life and does not permit our feet to slip.
For you, God, tested us, to purify us like fine silver.
You have led us into a trap and set burdens on our backs.
You caused men to ride over us. You brought us through fire and water, but you led us to abundance.
May God show us favor and bless us; may he truly show us his favor. Interlude
May the earth yield its produce. May God, our God, bless us.
May God truly bless us so that all the nations of the earth will fear him. To the Director of music: A Psalm. A song.
Blessed be the Lord who daily carries us. God is our deliverer.
God is for us the God of our deliverance. The Lord GOD rescues us from death.
Summon the power of your God, the power, God, that you have shown us.
Why, God? Have you rejected us forever? Your anger is burning against the sheep of your pasture.
We see no signs for us; there is no longer a prophet, and no one among us knows the future.
things that we have heard and known and that our ancestors related to us.
We have become a reproach to our neighbors, a mockery and a derision to those around us.
Don't charge us for previous iniquity, but let your compassion come quickly to us, for we have been brought very low.
Help us, God, our deliverer, on account of your glorious name, deliver us and forgive our sins on account of your name.
God, restore us, show your favor and deliver us.

Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us shout with songs of praise to him.
Come! Let us worship and bow down; let us kneel in the presence of the LORD, who made us.
Acknowledge that the LORD is God. He made us and we belong to him; we are his people and the sheep of his pasture.
He neither deals with us according to our sins, nor repays us equivalent to our iniquity.
As distant as the east is from the west, that is how far he has removed our sins from us.
Remember me, LORD, when you show favor to your people. Visit us with your deliverance,
Deliver us, LORD our God, gather us from among the nations so we may praise your holy name and rejoice in praising you.
God, you have rejected us, have you not, since you did not march out with our army, God?
Give us help against the enemy, because human help is useless.
Not to us, LORD, not to us, but to your name be given glory on account of your gracious love and faithfulness.
The LORD remembers and blesses us. He will indeed bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron.
